The Rock-a-Nore Story
An illustrated talk by Ken BrooksSunday 19th July 2015 2.30-3.30pm at the Shipwreck Museum, Rock-a-Nore Road
Images of the Rock-a-Nore area in the 19th and early 20th centuries will be compared with present-day views. These will include fishing boats, net shops, the fishermen’s Church, the Tan House, the East Well, Butler’s Cave, the construction of the harbour, and local characters including Biddy the Tubman.
